Our story began in 1995 as the Tour de France restaurant group, with our first restaurant, French Roast Downtown, followed by a collection of brasseries and bistros inspired by regions from Provence to the Alsace. The brasserie lifestyle remains a trademark of Chef Driven, with restaurants that offer everyday escapes from morning until night.
At Chef Driven, we are food forward. As a chef-driven restaurant group, we believe in supporting chefs from diverse backgrounds to collaborate, innovate and express their unique talents through authentic and memorable food, and accessible, affordable, and award-winning wine programs.
Today, our collection of 18 concepts spans all styles and cuisines, from Sicily to Israel to Baja California, and includes our cocktail lounge, Bar Bas, and Broadway’s favorite cookie shop, Schmackary’s.
