Dagon is a modern Mediterranean restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, serving food from across the region. Inspiration for Dagon came from former Dutch cargo vessel MV Peace, which acted as an offshore radio station and broadcast from the Middle East for 20 years. Their motto — "from somewhere in the Mediterranean, we are the Voice of Peace."
In the kitchen, Executive Chef and Partner Ari Bokovza cooks the dishes he loves the most, drawing inspiration from southern Italy all the way to northern Africa. He celebrates Mediterranean ingredients in all their forms — folded through house-made mezze, layered into freshly made pastas, and grilled for maximum flavor.
